Château Shereé Is Still Not Done, But Contractors Want Their Coin!

RHOA originale Shereé Whitfield, has returned to this season of the show just as the final stages of her home are being executed. The project began construction in 2011 during season 4 of Real Housewives, but fast-forward 4 years and 4 seasons later, the house is still not a home! In fact, Shereé is running up quite a tab with her Atlanta mansion, so befittingly named Chateau Shereé.
Last week, a contractor here in Atlanta sued Shereé for alleged unpaid bills totaling $15,450. He tacked on almost another $8,000 in late fees and other miscellaneous charges, so now he’s asking for $23,000. The AJC reports, “The lawsuit against Shereé, filed December 17, 2015, in Fulton County Superior Court, comes from Stoploss Specialists, which describes itself as an “emergency response contractor.” The company in the lawsuit said it signed a DEAL with her on December 17, 2014, exactly one year earlier “to supply equipment, labor and/or materials for the improvement of the property.”
Obviously they don’t watch Real Housewives nor Iyanla: Fix My Life! If they did then they’d cut her some slack, because they’d know that she’s just now back to being herself after her train-wreck of a divorce. She’d actually gone on Iyanla’s show where she was able to illustrate to Shereé that her home was a metaphor for her life being incomplete. If you need a refresher, here you go! At least she admitted on her Bravo blog last month that she “took on an enormous project with my family and clearly got in way over my head.”
The thing is that Shereé has overcome a lot of obstacles over the years and has used her experiences well enough to turn her life around! She’s now the executive producer of the hilarious WE-TV hit show Selling It In The ATL and is a recurring cast member on Bravo’s RHOA. Now, I don’t know whether or not she’ll get her peach back, but she’s network surfin’ and collecting checks…so who cares! The house is almost done as you can see throughout this season, so I’m sure Kenya will have plenty of time to use up her dry jokes. Mold Mansion lol!
