This past season fans have been watching Charmaine go through a lot of life-changing experiences. From becoming a wife to unfortunately losing her mother, and now her going through her pregnancy as she prepares to welcome her baby girl.
On Friday, Charmaine shared a nice surprise from her husband Neek, in honor of her birthday.
Charmaine shared with her followers that Neek got a portrait of her mother tattooed on his back. She said, “Tat my mom on you so I know it’s real ❤️Best birthday present ! @neekbey got a tattoo of my mom. This is unreal!”
The tattoo was done by Kat, who is her friend, and also a former cast member of “Black Ink Crew: Chicago.”
Throughout the years, viewers not only got to see Charmaine and Neek’s relationship develop but also his relationship with Charmaine’s mother, Glenda.
This past season, cameras followed Charmaine as she learned about her mother’s passing, and viewers also got to see her grieving process, and also her journey to motherhood.”
Back on Christmas day, Charmaine shared a photo of her pregnant, next to a photo of her mother while she was pregnant with her and said, “Exactly 30 years ago today my mother was pregnant with me! Missing her so much and so grateful for my life with her and the life inside of me. Hard to really sit and think about but for the most part I feel her spirit today.”
