It looks like Charlamagne Tha God is doubling back on the comments he made about Megan Thee Stallion’s ticket prices. The Shade Room previously reported that the radio host questioned the Houston rapper’s ability to sell out arenas due to the pricing of tickets for her upcoming ‘Hot Girl Summer’ Tour.
The debate initially sparked on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, after Ticketmaster began to offer $24 tickets for the rapper’s upcoming ‘Hot Girl Summer’ Tour.

Charlamagne Tha God Shares New Thoughts About Megan Thee Stallion’s Tour
On Tuesday’s episode of ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Charlamagne changed his opinion after research revealed that the Houston Hottie has actually sold out several arenas and thousands of tickets for her tour.
“I asked the question yesterday, Is Megan Thee Stallion an arena artist? Cleary, we got our answer, Jess just said that she sold out 13 arena stops and I think I read over 240,000 tickets across North America and Europe. So yeah, if you’re selling out arenas, clearly you’re an arena artist,” he said.
Social Media Gives Charlamagne The Facts
Several social media users jumped in The Shade Room comments to defend Megan following Charlamagne’s comments.
Instagram user @kalyndabaddest__ wrote, “Charlamagne HATES black women. What don’t y’all get?”
Instagram user @dunbar2nd wrote, “Charlamagne, you didn’t question if she was An Arena artist. You stated she wasn’t one. Don’t act like you just asked a question. Admit you were wrong and apologize.”
While Instagram user @bella_rt wrote, “Her tickets were $300 in Chicago for decent seats. $500+ on the floor. Stop hating on the girlllllll.”
Instagram user @lovelylaauraa wrote, “Meg gets so much hatred but like why?”
Instagram user @ouuthats_.e wrote, “Megan sold out 17 actually. Get your facts right instead of hating Charlene.”
Instagram user @b.doti wrote, “Lmao man Meg literally gets the last laugh every single time!”
Charlamagne’s new statement comes just a day after he claimed that Megan Thee Stallion was not an “arena artist.” The radio host also compared the emcee to other musicians like Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown. He even questioned if Megan’s tour was selling tickets due to the low pricing.
“If she’s doing arenas, she shouldn’t be doing arenas. She’s not an arena artist. Salute to Megan Thee Stallion, but she’s not an arena artist, maybe a theatre artist. Arenas is a lot,” Charlamagne said in his previous statement.
