Felony charges against Timothy Leeks, known as rapper Lul Tim, have reportedly been dropped. As The Shade Room previously reported, Leeks was charged with murder following the fatal shooting of fellow rapper King Von.
The fatal incident took place on November 6, 2020.

According to XXL, Noah Pines, Timothy Leeks’ lawyer, shared an exclusive statement with the outlet regarding the murder charges on Sunday, August 20.
“The case against Mr. Leeks was dismissed prior to ever being indicted.”
Afterward, Asian Doll reportedly responded to the update via a now-deleted tweet.

Additionally, XXL reports that King Von’s family took to Instagram Live following the report of the dropped charges against Leeks. The outlet reports that the rapper’s family questioned why prosecutors did not previously inform them of this update.
Lul Tim Reacts To His Dropped Murder Charges
On Monday, Lul Tim released a music video following his lawyer’s statement to XXL regarding his dropped murder charges. In the video, Lul Tim raps about receiving “good news” because he’s about to “beat this case.”
Additionally, the video shows the rapper having his house arrest ankle monitor removed.
The music video is titled “Left A Stain.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, news of Von’s passing began to circulate on November 6, 2020. The rapper, whose real name was Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was reportedly gunned down outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge in Downtown Atlanta.
The following day, The Shade Room reported that Timothy Leeks was in police custody at Grady Hospital. However, Leeks also sustained injuries as a result of the shooting.
“Mr. Leeks is in police custody at Grady Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound. The homicide of Bennett is closed with this arrest,” Maria Jean Rooker, an Atlanta Police spokeswoman, explained at the time.
Additionally, at the time, it was speculated that an officer may have fatally shot Von. However, authorities proceeded with charging Leeks with felony murder.
