Channing Tatum started off his holiday weekend by filing for a restraining order after a woman broke into his home and stayed there for more than a week.
According to the legal documents obtained by The Blast, on Tuesday, Channing filed documents in a Los Angeles County courthouse against the woman. She reportedly broke into one of his Hollywood homes last month. The home was vacant, and she squatted at the home for 10 days.
She was later discovered by Channing’s assistant on June 24th and placed under citizen arrest before authorities were called to take her away. At the time she reportedly denied trespassing on the property and believed that Channing invited her to stay.
According to the site, Channing does not know the woman, but he is aware of her. Previously she reportedly showed up to his home and tried to make contact with home.
In his declaration in his court documents, he reportedly claims the woman left a letter at his home back in November, claiming they had met 10 years ago, and she believed that Channing had been watching her.
Channing was granted the restraining order, and it also includes protection for his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, their daughter, and two assistants.
