Chance The Rapper continues his vow to give back to the community, and this time around he did so during his 24th birthday celebration at Studio Paris nightclub.
According to Complex, the Chicago rapper put on his “Chance The Birthday,” event this past Sunday (April 16th) to help benefit his non-profit organization Social Works. General admission tickets and VIP ticket prices ranged from $100 to $2,500.
Although some may look at those prices as a little expensive, that didn’t stop his fans from coming through to help him celebrate. In the end, Chance was able to raise over $100,000 for charity.
Chance performed at the event and fans even enjoyed performances from surprise guests T-Pain and Ludacris.
The mission for Chance’s Social Works organization is “to empower the youth through arts, education, and civic engagement while fostering leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago.”
Earlier this year Chance made headlines and received praises for his $1 million donation to Chicago’s Public School.
It’s great to see Chance The Rapper continuing his efforts to give back in different ways.
