Election Day is literally days away and many celebrities have been using their platforms to encourage the youth to get out there and vote.
It was recently announced that Chance The Rapper will host a free show, encouraging the youth to participate in this years election.
According to XXL, Chance’s non-profit organization, Social Works is teaming up with Virgin Hotels Chicago to host a rooftop concert on November 7th.
In a press release Chance said, “This election is very important, a chance for new leaders and new opportunities to emerge. Social Works and I are proud to partner with Virgin Hotels Chicago, Boost Your Voice and The Turbo Vote Challenge to give everyone a voice in the democratic process and encourage people to vote, both locally and nationally.”
Other artist expected to hit the stage include, Taylor Bennett, Malcolm London, Twin Peaks and a few others.
Recently Jay-Z and Beyoncé hosted a concert out in Cleveland with a few other special guests, which included Chance The Rapper, in support of Hillary Clinton.
It’s great to see Chance using his voice to encourage the youth.
