Family, friends, and fans are still mourning the unfortunate loss of Mac Miller. Nonetheless, his life will be celebrated at a concert that is scheduled to take place at the end of the month.
On Tuesday, Mac Miller’s mother, Karen Meyers announced the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” concert. She posted a flyer for the concert on social media and said, “Thank you to all the artists, friends and partners for helping to bring this all to fruition in honor of wonderful Malcolm…who is in all of our hearts.”
The show will benefit the Mac Miller Circles Fund, which is in honor of Mac Miller’s commitment to the arts. The fund will help to provide “programming; resources and opportunities to youth from underserved communities, helping them recognize their full potential through exploration in the arts and community building.”
The concert, which will take place on October 31st at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, will feature performances from Anderson. Paak, Chance The Rapper, John Mayer, Miguel, Schoolboy Q, SZA, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Vince Staples, and more.
The rapper, unfortunately, passed on September 7th from an apparent drug overdose.
