Chance The Rapper has made it clear that he is in full support of the public school system out in Chicago.
He received praises for his recent $1 million dollar donation, now he is making the effort to step inside the classroom to help inspire the youth.
According to DNA Info, on Friday Chance made a surprise visit to Chicago’s Courtenay Elementary for their college and career fair. After the student’s lunch, he talked to them about his rap career and the path that led him to success.
Ethan Nguyen, 12, said, “He inspired us to try to make our dreams come true. It was exciting.”
Another student said, “I think it was really cool. When I first saw him I was like, ‘oh my god.’ I just wanted to jump up … my whole class was excited.”
Chance shared a video on his Instagram of him sitting in a classroom full of students as he watched them during their math lesson.
It’s great to see Chance The Rapper continuing to give back in many ways.
