Cassie‘s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, has issued a statement after Diddy was recently spotted whitewater rafting and jet-setting.
According to TMZ, Diddy was spotted whitewater rafting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, earlier this month. At the time, the outlet reported that the mogul appeared to be accompanied by a few friends. Additionally, TMZ reported that Diddy appeared “the least bit panicked” as reports loom that he’s potentially facing a federal indictment.
Furthermore, on Friday, July 6, Diddy also returned to Instagram after wiping his account clean to share footage of him boarding his private jet, per The Shade Room.
According to TMZ, Cassie’s lawyer has reacted to Diddy’s recent outings on behalf of his client.
“I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead,” Douglas Wigdor reportedly told the outlet.
Additionally, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, an attorney representing a woman named Adria English, has also reacted to Diddy’s outings.
“After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails,” Mitchell-Kidd stated. “Mrs. English and all the other Plaintiffs who have filed lawsuits throughout the country against Defendant Combs are individuals with limited resources fighting for just after being marginalized, abused and exploited by a billionaire.”
According to TMZ, English initiated legal action against Diddy earlier this month, accusing him of sex trafficking her at his parties. A lawyer representing Diddy in the case, Jonathan Davis, reportedly responded to the allegations by stating that Diddy “has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
“…We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court,” Davis told the outlet.
Social media users shared mixed reactions to Wigdor’s spicy statement toward Diddy in The Shade Room’s comment section.
While Instagram user @nurse_haskins added, “Sometimes y’all gotta let GOD deal with people and be thankful for the mercy shown over “your life”. WE KNOW no one is perfect; and justice will be served accordingly. 🙌🏽🙌🏽”
Instagram user @mrphillwade wrote, “lol. Oh you out there having fun?!??”
While Instagram user @tattoomanpaige added, “Puffy was wrong 😂😂 But what y’all want him to do in the meantime, stare at the wall?”
While Instagram user @ashley.brionne added, “His time will come…”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy has remained in the headlines since he was initially accused of sex trafficking, abuse, and rape by Cassie in November 2023.
Although the pair privately settled Cassie’s suit, numerous individuals have come forward since then to accuse Diddy of sexual assault, harassment, trafficking, rape, and other claims.
In March, Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by federal agents, who reportedly confiscated electronic devices from the residences. Then, in May, surveillance footage from March 2016 surfaced, showing Diddy assaulting Cassie in a California hotel.
Diddy issued an apology in regard to the footage. However, reports soon surfaced that a federal grand jury was preparing to hear testimonies from the mogul’s alleged victims.
According to NBC News, earlier this month, the outlet reported that Diddy had been informed that he was the subject of a federal investigation. Around the same time, TMZ reported that the mogul is now selling his Los Angeles mansion for $70 million.
