TSR Exclusive Details: Details regarding Carl Crawford’s arrest reveal that he’s being accused of choking his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint last month.
The woman, with whom Carl shares a toddler with, told authorities she and Carl broke up in February but he came through to her Houston home to try and reconcile on May 8th and that’s when he allegedly got violent, choking her and slamming her head repeatedly during an alleged interrogation.
According to documents obtained by The Shade Room, Carl Crawford has been ordered per his bond agreement to have no contact with his alleged victim and is being required to submit to drug and alcohol testing on a monthly basis starting August 1st.
Carl Crawford is being accused of pulling a semi-automatic handgun on his baby mama who told Carl that if he was going to put his hands on her during their meetup, she was going to leave but when she attempted to do so, Carl allegedly pushed her down to the ground, according to the docs.
Carl then allegedly used one hand to grab her neck while the other held a gun while he asked her how long she had been dating a male acquaintance.
The woman said she told Carl that she only knew the man he was questioning her about for a week. She said Carl then called her a liar before slamming her head against the wall a couple of times, according to the docs.
The woman claims Carl squeezed her neck, affecting her breathing, while accusing her of sleeping with the man even though she told him that she never had sex with the guy he was asking her about.
During this interrogation, the woman claimed that every time Carl didn’t get the answer he wanted, he would squeeze her neck tighter until she couldn’t breathe at all and everything began to get “blurry and dark.”
The woman said it was her child who technically saved her, moving toward her and Carl, allowing her to eventually get free and run to the leasing office in her apartment for help.
As she called the police, Carl allegedly fled and left the gun at the scene, which was recovered by the responding officers.
Carl was slated to bail out of jail sometime Thursday evening.
