The ongoing beef with 1501 Certified Entertainment’s CEO, Carl Crawford, and Megan Thee Stallion has reignited. The CEO called out Megan after a clip of her performing her song, “Realer,” resurfaced. The May performance at the 44th edition of the Beale Street Music Festival at the Fairgrounds in Liberty Park in Memphis, Tennessee. In the clip, instead of rapping the lyrics, “I’m the 1501 queen,” Meg stuck up her middle finger and let the track play before continuing with the lyrics.
Meg’s actions seemed to rub Carl the wrong way, and he clapped back on Instagram. The former MLB star wrote, “See, I really just be minding my business. Nah, f**k you seahorse. The song should be called ‘Faker than Fake.’ The drama didn’t stop there. He also called out T.Farris, the H-Town Hottie’s manager, saying, “And f**k T. Farris too, you b***h.”
When it comes to performing ‘Realer,’ this isn’t the first time the rapper has skipped over the bar. In December 2020, during her Apple Music Awards performance, she rapped, “I’m the queen.” The GRAMMY Award winner performed six songs in total and took home Apple’s breakthrough artist of the year award.
According to Billboard, the Texas Southern University alumna spoke about winning: “It’s super important for me to perform for the Apple Music Awards because these songs touch my Hotties. Everything I do is for you all.” This has been a busy year for Meg.
On July 2nd, she released the music video to her latest single, ‘Plan B,’ which is currently at 5 million views on YouTube, and doesn’t seem to be worried about Carl’s antics. Currently, she nor T. Farris has responded to Carl’s claims, but if they do, we’ll keep you posted, Roomies!
