Ex #FifthHarmony member #CamilaCabello set the internet ablaze when she exited the group back in December. The group released a statement saying that the 19-year-old was set to pursue a solo career and it appears that Cabello has confirmed this with Seventeen Magazine in her first interview since her departure.
“Fifth Harmony wasn’t the maximum expression of me individually,” she says in the March issue. “My fans are really going to know me from the music I’m writing. My goal is to be brave and open up my soul.”
Nevertheless, she wishes nothing but the best for the remaining members of Fifth Harmony. “I’ll continue to wish them all the best, and I’m happy they are continuing their journey as Fifth Harmony,” she said. “I’m also looking forward to hearing new music from the group and their solo endeavors.”
There’s no word on when we can expect to hear music from Cabello, however, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei plan to continue to release new music as Fifth Harmony!
