Caitlin Clark is sharing a little more of her personal life with the world and wishing her boyfriend a happy first anniversary.
On Wednesday, April 24, Clark took to Instagram to share a special message with an accompanying photo. In her latest post, Clark commemorated “one year of the best mems [memories]” with her “fav person.”
“one year of the best mems w my fav person 🖤 you make everyday better and I can’t wait for many more adventures together… love you 🤞🏻😇,” she wrote.
Additionally, Clark’s words were accompanied by a black-and-white photo of her and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. In the picture, Connor wrapped his arms around Clark as she leaned on his chest, and they posed for the photo.

Additionally, McCaffery shared his own anniversary post for Clark with his own set of photos.
“One year w the best doing life w u has been easy, and you never cease to amaze me.. can’t wait to watch u live out ur dreams in person 🤞🏼 love you ❤️,” he wrote.
Note that this is not the first time the couple has publicly shown their affection for one another. In January, McCaffery apparently shared the first post of him and Clark on his Instagram feed. At the time, he wished her a happy 22nd birthday.
“Happy Birthday 22 🤞🏼🤍 Wish I was there to celebrate with you – you deserve the best day ❤️ Golden Bday / T Swift year will be the best yet. With all that you’ve already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you 🖤” he wrote at the time.
Then, back in August 2023, Clark apparently shared an initial post on her Instagram feed of her and McCaffery.
“Best end to summer🖤” she wrote at the time.
Although some social media users may have been aware of Clark’s “taken” status, many appear to be surprised. Clark’s initial Instagram post of her and her boyfriend has around 180,000 likes and 1,400 comments. Meanwhile, her recently shared anniversary post has garnered over 515,000 likes and over 3,300 comments.
Furthermore, Instagram users shared humorously heartbroken reactions to Clark being off the market in her comment section.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Caitlin Clark recently made headlines earlier this month after her salary with the WNBA was reportedly revealed.
Clark, who was the no.1 first-round draft pick for the organization, will reportedly earn $76,535 during her forthcoming year with the Indiana Fever. After four years, Clark will reportedly earn $338,056 in total from her rookie contract.
At the time of the reports, Clarks’ salary — and those of fellow draftees Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso — sparked criticism. Many social media users believed that the WNBA should pay their athletes more.
The reports even prompted fellow professional athlete Russell Wilson to chime in.
Additionally, Wilson’s remarks were even followed by President Joe Biden. However, despite the pay discrepancy Clark may receive under the WNBA, it appears the 22-year-old will be making a big coin through another business venture.
