More Details Regarding Bryan Abasolo’s Divorce Filing
According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Abasolo filed for divorce from Linsday on Tuesday, January 2. The chiropractor listed the cause of their split as irreconcilable differences and their date of separation as Sunday, December 31, 2023.
E! News also reports that Abasolo is requesting to be awarded spousal support from Lindsay, who is an attorney.
Furthermore, the 43-year-old revealed his split from Lindsay with a post shared via Instagram on Tuesday.
“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I don’t like to put my personal affairs on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family. Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role so far,” he wrote. “After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go…”
Before concluding his message, Abasolo asked that the public “respect the spaces” of his and Lindsay’s family and friends as they figure out their “next steps.”
According to CNN, Rachel Lindsay has not responded to Abasolo’s court filing. Additionally, she has yet to address the matter publicly.
A Brief Look Back On Bryan Abasolo & Rachel Lindsay’s Marriage
Abasolo and Lindsay spoke exclusively with E! News in November. At the time, they shared their plans to have their first child together.
“It’s something that we want,” Linsday explained. “It’s been harder than I thought it would be. We’re trying. You think, ‘Oh yeah, when I’m ready, I’ll make it happen.’ But it’s just been a little bit more difficult for us. But we’re definitely starting the process.”
Additionally, the 38-year-old explained why she and Abasolo preferred to keep their marriage private.
“We’re always a hot topic. Whenever there’s a rumor about a Bachelor Nation person getting divorced, it’s my husband and I because we aren’t public with our relationship and that’s the exact reason why we’re not,” she said. “Because we realized a long time ago that so many people—the more you give them, the more opinions and judgments that they have. And so, we realized we needed to protect ourselves. So for us, we just post when we want to post. We’re together all the time. We’re just not putting it out there.”
To note, the last time Abasolo shared a photo of him and Lindsay via Instagram was for her birthday in April.

Since then, Lindsay’s Instagram posts have mainly been centered around her work in television and podcasting. However, the 38-year-old did take to Instagram on Sunday, December 31, to share that 2023 has been “one of the hardest years” of her life.
“Definitely one of the hardest years of my life, but choosing to focus on grateful moments and carrying that energy into 2024,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
