Brittney Griner and her wife Cherelle have shared photos from their recent maternity shoot.
Over the weekend, the couple took to Instagram to begin sharing photos from the shoot. The first image they posted was a black-and-white flick of them mid-laugh.
Additionally, the couple captioned the photo with a countdown.
“ONE … ✨” they wrote.
A follow-up photo featured the pair standing side by side.
“TWO … ♾️” the second caption added.
Then, the third photo, shared on Monday, June 10, featured Brittney with her bare back turned to the camera as Cherelle posed in a nude lingerie set accessorized with a ruffled robe.
This time, the couple wrote, “THREE … 🫶🏽” in their caption to seemingly continue their countdown and mark them being joined by a plus one.
In the final picture, the Griners lovingly stared at one another as they continued to bask in their bliss.
“FOUR …🌹” their final caption added.
The couple’s maternity photos appeared to throw some social media users for a loop. In the comment section of the couple’s latest maternity post, some users questioned whether the pair were having twins.
Neither Brittney nor Cherelle responded to the comments. However, Cherelle has since taken to her Instagram Story to seemingly confirm that she’s expecting one child.
“@cherellegriner y’all really got us crying at work… Can’t wait to feed Baby Bash Dino Nuggets & Mac/Cheese…” one social media user wrote while reposting a photo of Cherelle and Brittney.
“I’m sure he’ll love eating at your house,” Cherelle wrote in response.
Meanwhile, users have shared congratulations and well wishes in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @doulafromthebx wrote, “Awww so beautiful 💜💜💜”
As The Shade Room previously reported, the Griners revealed their baby boy Bash‘s name and gender in May. At the time, the couple also shared footage from their baby shower.
Brittney and her wife Cherelle initially revealed they were expecting in April, per The Shade Room. This milestone has made Cherelle a first-time mother, while Brittney shares twin daughters with her ex-wife and fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson.
