Britney Spears and her husband of fourteen months, Sam Asghari, are reportedly headed for divorce. According to TMZ, the couple recently split.

More Details Regarding Britney Spears & Sam Asghari’s Reported Split
According to the outlet, Asghari accused Spear of stepping out on him during an argument that took place “about a week ago.” Since then, a source has informed the outlet that Asghari has moved out of their home. Additionally, the 29-year-old is now living in his own residence.
“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” the anonymous source reportedly told TMZ.
Additionally, the outlet also alleges that there’s been “deep trouble” in the pair’s relationship for months now. TMZ reports that Asghari was previously not sleeping “much” at their residence.
The outlet also added that the couple had been engaged in “frequent screaming matches,” which have reportedly turned violent.
Furthermore, the report alleges that Ashgari has been “over” Spears’ “erratic” behavior in recent months.
Sam Asghari Recently Defended His Wife
As The Shade Room previously reported, Asghari most recently came to his wife’s defense after she was slapped by NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security guard in July.

At the time, Asghari explained that he is “opposed to violence” and hopes that “the man in question learns his lesson and changes his disregard toward women.”

At the time, an “insider” shared Spears’ excitement regarding the union, as reported by PEOPLE.
“Britney started planning and dreaming about her wedding shortly after she got engaged… It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect,” the source explained.
Additionally, the outlet reports that the two met while on set for her “Slumber Party” music video in 2017.
“I was like, ‘He was really cute, this guy was really cute,’ so I called him,” Spears explained at the time, PEOPLE reports. “He’s just a really fun, funny person.”
At this time, neither Spears nor Ashgari have publicly addressed their reported split.
