More Reported Details Regarding NBA YoungBoy’s Arrest In Utah

According to WAFB, YoungBoy was recently arrested in Utah. As The Shade Room previously reported, the 24-year-old was under house arrest in the state after multiple legal proceedings, which reportedly stemmed from a music video incident in 2020.

WAFB reports that jail records from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office show that YoungBoy was arrested on Tuesday, April 16. The rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m.

Additionally, he has reportedly been hit with multiple charges.

The outlet reports that the charges include a “pattern of unlawful activity,” “procuring or attempting to procure drug/prescription,” and “identity fraud.” YoungBoy has also been charged with “forgery” and “possession of other controlled substances.”

Lastly, the 24-year-old is reportedly charged with “possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person.”

The outlet notes that no bail has yet been set for the rapper.
