Brandy‘s 21-year-old daughter, Sy’Rai Smith, recently came thru and showed off her vocal abilities while sharing her rendition of some of her mother’s hits!
Sy’Rai Sang “Long Distance” & “Full Moon”
The development came by way of some recent social media uploads.
In one clip, Smith highlighted her rendition of “Long Distance.” The song graced listeners after premiering on Brandy’s Human album in 2008.
Additionally, Sy’Rai also covered “Full Moon” — the title track to her mother’s third album, which dropped in 2002.

Beneath The Shade Room‘s upload of Sy’Rai’s singing, various users showed their love and support. Monica penned, “She’s so beautiful and sounds absolutely amazing!!!”

Brandy Recently Wished Her Talented Daughter A Happy 21st Birthday
Of course, with Sy’Rai boasting some bops of her own, her musical talents shouldn’t come as a surprise!
Four months ago, she shared a music video for a song called “On My Own.”
Last year, Smith and her mother teamed up to record a track called “Nothing Without You,” featured on the 2022 remake of Cheaper by the Dozen.
It’s also worth adding that Smith celebrated her 21st birthday just a few months ago, and her proud mother heartwarmingly acknowledged it on social media.
Beneath an upload featuring various collages to highlight Sy’Rai’s big day, Brandy wrote, “I’m so thankful to God for you and so blessed that you ARE.”
She continued, calling her daughter a “beautiful soul” who makes her “proud.”
“You’ve made me so proud of you and the woman you are becoming. Continue to be a light and the beautiful soul you are born to be. My baby forever no matter how old you get.”
