Roommates, social media is practically on fire after a viral video was released showing former couple Quavo and Saweetie in a physical altercation on an elevator. As expected, everyone has chimed in with their opinion on the incident—and controversial boxer Adrien Broner is no exception, as he took to social media to declare that he has Quavo’s back.
Following the explosive video showing Quavo and Saweetie physically fighting in an elevator, social media immediately erupted over the news. Various celebrities offered their own opinion regarding the video, which showed Quavo grabbing Saweetie by the arm and pushing her into the wall—and Adrien Broner was one of the first.
He took to his Instagram stories and wrote the following message:
“I ain’t see nothing wrong in that video. If you ask me that’s black love, if me and my significant other don’t argue like that den I don’t want her cause I rather have somebody who might punch me while I’m sleep, before I take a beautiful women who sneak off and f**k another n***a while I’m sleep…it’s the black tough love for me”
Adrien Broner wasn’t done, however, and added a bit more to his caption. “@quavohuncho I’m behind you my n***a keep yo head up we all know you was a great n***a to that women and it ain’t my business but I hate to see another black man get tore down in this world. #Culture3.”
As we previously reported, TMZ obtained surveillance footage from an elevator at an apartment complex, which shows both Saweetie and Quavo engaging in some sort of altercation. Sources close to the situation told TMZ the incident happened at an apartment building where Saweetie was living in 2020.
