It looks like WeTv’s “Growing Up Hip-Hop” has lost another cast member.
Bow Wow went to social media to recently announce that he is done with the show. He said on his Instagram story, “We done with “Growing Up Hip Hop! We on to bigger and better things! Angela Simmons let’s do the unthinkable.”
He didn’t elaborate on why he was done with the show, however, Romeo Miller also he was announced he was done with the show, and during an interview at The Breakfast Club, he explained his reason why.
As we previously reported, Romeo said, “I’ve been in this business for 19 years. I’m at a place where it’s all about my inner-peace. It’s all about mental health and it’s about growth. It’s not about the money. I’m the highest-paid on the network. I had to walk away because I can’t sell my soul for money. I can’t sell my soul for a storyline…It’s fake drama for no reason.”
Bow Wow first appeared on the “Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta” series as a main cast member back in 2017 when it first debuted. The show was the second installment of the franchise, which was spearheaded by Angela Simmons and Romeo Miller when the franchise first premiered back in 2016.
Also during his Breakfast Club interview earlier this month Romeo talked about there being a fake love story triangle between him, Angela and Bow Wow that they were trying to create for the show.
“That was my idol as a little kid, I put him in my first single, ‘My Baby.’ I put all of my idols in there. Kobe, my pops, my Uncle Silk, my Uncle C, Bow, and the whole world they want you to compete. That’s what they do to us, and now it’s happening as adults, and I’m like it’s not about to go there because that’s not what it is,” said Romeo.
Roommates, what are your thoughts?
