Bobby Brown sat down with the ladies of “The Real” this week and candidly opened up in his first T.V interview about losing his daughter Bobbi Kristina nearly two months ago.
“We prayed and hoped for six months for something better to happen,” Brown said. “But when he calls you, he calls you”
Bobbi Kristina was found lying unconscious in the bathtub of her Georgia home on Jan. 31 and passed away on July 26 after months in a coma. Bobbi Kristina was the only daughter of Brown and the late singer Whitney Houston; she was just 22 years old.
Brown jokingly said “I’m pretty sure her mother had a part with like, ‘Come on, let’s get her up here, “
Houston died back in 2012 after being found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel unresponsive.
“She wasn’t comfortable by herself, I guess,” Brown tells the hosts of the show, in an episode that will air on Monday, Sept14. “ She just called my daughter with her.”
