The world is watching Baltimore right now as everyone is demanding justice for the unnecessary and mysterious death of 25 year old Freddie Gray.
One topic that seems to be getting more attention than the actual murder itself the violent protests going on amongst the young blacks who are looting different stores and burning down buildings and police cars.
Now, Baltimore natives continue to press that the protests were peaceful up until the funeral. Bloods, Crips and others are among the many gangs that have took it upon themselves to try and stop the violence even though media outlets have put out that gangs were the ones banding together to harm cops.
Some members took it upon themselves to talk with WBALTV 11 News in Baltimore in order to shed some light on what’s really going on in the streets.
One gentleman goes on record to say,
“We just want to tell the people of Baltimore city, that the image that they are trying to portray or the gangs in Baltimore, the BGFS, the bloods, the crips we did not make that truce to harm cops. We did not come together against the cops. We are not going to allow y’all to paint that picture of us.
He goes on to say,
“As you can see we are dirty. They threw bombs at us for trying to stop what was going on. Y’all not about to do that to us.”
