She Wants To “Be An Inspiration” To Others
Blac Chyna commemorated the exciting news on Sunday (Jul. 2). While she previously acknowledged receiving the degree back in January, her participation in the institution’s graduation festivities ensured Angela White got the full celebratory experience.
In her recent upload, she showed footage of herself giving a speech at the graduation ceremony.
Emotionally, Blac Chyna thanked God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for “changing [her] life” and showing unconditional love.
“I would like to thank God, thank Jesus, thank the Holy Spirit. I’m very grateful to be here, to receive my doctor’s degree. God has never given up on me. I’ve been through a lot in my life, and He’s been changing my life… and I think He loves me.”
She added that she wants to keep on “walk[ing] in this light” before saying she aims to make her loved ones proud.
“I want to continue to walk in this light and learn and grow and be an inspiration to my family, my friends, and my kids. And most of all, make God and Jesus proud of me.”
The Rob & Chyna star further spoke on the matter in her caption, going as far as to call herself “Dr. Angela White” while thanking the bible college.
“‘Doctorate of Humanities’ Dr. Angela White. Thank you Sacramento Theological Seminaty [sic] and Bible College for my honorary. ‘Doctorate of Humanities.'”
The 35-year-old also dished on the degree’s significance.
“The degree of Doctor of Humanities is an honorary degree awarded to those who have distinguished themselves through humanitarian and philanthropic contributions to society.”

Blac Chyna Says She “Definitely Didn’t Pay For” Her Degree
As The Shade Room reported, Blac Chyna acknowledged that she’d walk down the graduation stage during a Caresha Please interview in mid-May.
While chatting with Yung Miami, White spoke on the process behind a celebrity getting an honorary degree. She also suggested that a seminary deciding to offer the honor was pure coincidence, as she said that the institution “just so happened to be a bible college.”
“Anybody can get a doctorate’s degree, like Oprah had got one, Denzel Washington, and a few other people. So, it’s different colleges that can nominate you, and they go out and they advocate for you [and] everything that you’ve done in your career, and then you’re granted it from that college. And it just so happened to be a bible college.”
During the interview, White also proclaimed that she “definitely didn’t pay for” the honorary Ph.D.
Congratulations to Blac Chyna!
