It looks like Mariah Carey is single again and back on the market. Reports are saying that Mariah and her billionaire fiancé, James Packer, have now split. And it was Packer who ended everything.
According to Page Six, the billionaire ended their relationship because he was sick of Mariah’s “extravagant spending,” and her new profound love for reality television.
The couple had been engaged for less than a year before calling it quits earlier this week.
A source said, “It’s all over. James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world.” Mariah’s new show on E! premiers in December.
The source also revealed that Packer was hesitant on leaving Mariah, however he let her keep the $10 million engagement ring that he gave to her.
Things started to take a turn for the worse when Mariah refused to go to Australia for his sister’s birthday. “His mom hated to even hear her name mentioned, and James’ tight circle of friends never really thought they would marry,” said the source.
Reports say that Mariah has been spending time with her ex Nick Cannon, as he attended her Halloween party last weekend with their twins, and Packer has turned to his ex wife for support.
