One thing about scammers, they gon’ scam! It doesn’t matter how or why. They will find a way to get what they want without any sympathy for their victim. Earlier today, rapper BFB Da Packman almost lost $500 after an account named Lil Durk Back-Up tried to finesse him for some money. The Flint native shared the screenshot with the conversation on his Instagram account, and it was hilarious.
The fake Durk wrote, “Hey, it’s the voice of the streets here, MAN WHAT!? Man, my account got hacked, gang. Shorty, I need to borrow $500 til the first. Gotta provide for the streets, stay dangerous foenem. SMURK.”
BFB happily and willingly responded to Durk, not realizing that it wasn’t the real rapper. He wrote, “Been rocking with you since you had dreads the first time Smurk. Real ni**as happy you came up like this. Send your CashApp name gang.” Folks through the exchange was so funny that MAN WHAT started trending on Twitter.
Over 2,500 people commented on BFD’s post, including fellow MI native DDG. He told BFB he was a good dude, in which he replied, “@pontiacmadeddg says the man who gave me a $20k feature for FREE. Thanks, DD.”
It’s unclear if the real Lil Durk is aware of the issue. He hasn’t responded on social media, but he is active and has been promoting his upcoming tour, “The back outside tour.” It was announced that he would be joining Lil Baby’s tour as a musical guest along with Coi Leray, Rylo Rodriguez, and Bankroll Freddie. The tour starts on September 1st, kicks off in Boston, and ends on October 15th in West Palm Beach.
Coi also shared the good news on her Instagram page twice within the last 24 hours. The “Big Purrr” rapper received well wishes from SZA and others.
