Roommates, if you’re members of the Beyhive or die-hard fans of Megan Thee Stallion, this news may be the best thing you’ve heard since the quarantine began. In a surprising move, Beyoncé has officially hopped on Megan Thee Stallion’s remix to her popular song “Savage”—and as expected, the Internet is going absolutely nuts about it.
Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” has been one of the most popular things about the quarantine, as many have used the song to create the viral Tik Tok challenge that continues to be a hit on social media. However, no one expected for the song’s official remix to get a feature from Beyoncé.
Originally taken from her “Suga” EP, which dropped back in March, “Savage” now features multiple new verses from both Megan and Beyoncé. Beyoncé also gets a little raunchy on the remix:
“Hips tik tok when I dance/ No more dating time, she might start an OnlyFans/ Big B, and that B stands for bands/ If you wanna see some real a**, baby, here’s your chance.”
All proceeds from the “Savage” remix will reportedly benefit Bread of Life’s Houston COVID-19 relief efforts, Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD organization recently announced a $6 million donation to the organization in partnership with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s #startsmall.
After sharing a snippet of the remix on social media, Megan wrote, “I’m f**king crying rn HOUSTON WE ON ????????????.” As of right now, there is no word on if there will be some sort of virtual or social distancing music video for the remix—but fans are likely hoping it will happen despite the current outbreak.
