Roommates, it’s been a very busy week for Beyonce, after hopping on Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Savage’ Remix, boosting Only Fans Traffic with a single bar, she’s now taking to the streets of Houston (along side her mom, Ms. Tina Knowles-Lawson) to help give relief to her hometown.

Any who, back to the tea, according to a press release from her BeyGOOD foundation, Bey is helping to flatten the curve by promoting testing those who have had trouble trying to get tested in Houston. In the statement, Momma Tina said: “The virus is wreaking havoc on the Black community so we need a movement to prioritize our health. We are all in this together. But we have to look at what is happening in our Black and Brown communities and how they are being decimated by COVID-19.”
The initiative called #IDIDMYPART, will kick off this Sunday during Mother’s Day weekend and is set to provide 1,000 free test kits, masks, gloves, household supplies, and vitamins y’all!
To make things even better, testing is complete free of charge and will be administered under very safe conditions. Participants participating will also reportedly receive grocery gift cards and a hot meal voucher. Listen here, we STAN a giving Queen!
That’s not the only thing Beyonce is doing for the residents of her hometown of Houston, she also recently teamed up with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, for a HEFTY donation of about $6 million to organizations aiding mental health and wellness, check out that tea here!
