Last night, the BET Honors Award Show at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC. The star studded event celebrated pioneers in the entertainment industry that have made extraordinary contributions to black culture.
Even though the show is pre recorded a month a head, social media has helped us get some exclusive pictures and award moments, including Kanye West receiving the Visionary Award for his “extraordinary contribution across the arts”. Ironically, Dame Dash was the one who presented the award, which speaks volumes because Dame Dash was reportedly very candid about his checkered past with Kanye. Kim was also present to support her man as he accepted his award.

Performers for the Awards show included, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, Patti LaBelle, K. Michelle, Jill Scott and Charlie Wilson hit the stage with Kanye West for a freestyle. An honorary video also aired featuring Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Common, and Kim Kardashian.
The BET Honors 2015 will premiere on Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on BET, will you be watching?
