If you’re a Gemini, then these updates will definitely help you to maneuver through each of your personalities! We’ve even got a few tricks for those of you who are lazy and proud, so here are a few Instagram life hacks that you probably didn’t even know existed!
1.) Instagram is already rolling out the video views feature.
According to The Verge, IG is about to start showing how many views your videos get! They just want to know how people are engaging with them, but this could be very valuable info for business owners who depend on social media marketing. It could also be used for sheer bragging rights. Instagram will supposedly be making the feature available to all accounts over the course of a few weeks, so be on the lookout!
2.) This is how to switch between accounts!
I don’t know what took Instagram so long for this one, but it’s super easy. Just go to your account settings and scroll alllll the way down to “Add Account.”
The next part is pretty explanatory as you just create a new account. Finally, head over to your profile page and you’ll notice a dropdown arrow that beholds access to whichever account you just created!
This is seriously the best feature now, because having to keep signing in and out is THE struggle for those of us with multiple *accounts (you may read *personality here).
3.) Too lazy to click on a picture, then click on the comment box just to leave an emoji? Life’s too short, do this instead!
First, press and hold down on any picture. The photo will take over your screen.
Next, you can just swipe up and the options to ‘like’, ‘comment’ or ‘send in message’ will appear.

4.) Click this and be amazed.
Forgot to share your post to Instagram? There’s a button for that. Forgot Twitter too? There’s a button for that. Need to check a bihh? The report button is conveniently located at the top and I just love that part!
5.) You can send direct messages now from any picture you’re looking at!
Yes, that even means without having to send a picture first!! It’s sorta like “IG-messenger.” You can even dmake it a group message.
6.) They’ve made it easier to find birds of a feather.
Just click the drop-down button and you’ll see follow suggestions based on the person. For example if you’re on Kandi Burruss’ IG and you click the arrow, it’ll suggest other Real Housewives of Atlanta castmembers or members from Xscape!
