According to TMZ , SpotemGottem was involved in a road rage incident that led to him being shot multiple times. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they responded to a shooting on Friday at about 3 a.m. At the I-95 scene, Florida Highway Patrol found that SpotemGottem’s car was shot at 22 times.
You may recognize the 19-year-old rapper from the song “Beat Box,” which sparked weeks of viral videos. The latest collaboration posted to his official YouTube channel is the “Beatbox Freestyle” track featuring rapper Young M.A. As of Friday afternoon, the video boasted over 1.1 million views. He has also collaborated with artists DaBaby, Jackboy, Pooh Shiesty and NLE Choppa to name a few.
SpotemGottem, whose real name is NehemiahLamarHarden, was reportedly shot in both legs while riding in the passenger seat of the vehicle. His driver was shot in the hip as more than a dozen bullets reportedly rained into his side of the vehicle. Both passengers were taken to a hospital in “stable condition.” The driver and artist were reportedly leaving a studio session in the popular Florida city.
SpotEmGottEm’s manager, Dee Phatboy, told TMZ another car pulled up next to his vehicle and used an automatic weapon to commit the crime. A shooter has not been identified at this time and law enforcement is asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
The shooting was first reported by outlet Say Cheese TV early Friday afternoon. In their report, they stated he was shot five times and was in “critical condition.”
According to the latest update, by TMZ his manager has said SpotemGottem is expected to make a “full recovery.” The Shade Room also independently confirmed with Dee Phatboy that the artist remains in stable condition.
