August Alsina has seemingly reacted after Akbar V shared a disapproving message about his sexuality.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Alsina appeared as a roundtable speaker on a recent episode of Nick Canon’s ‘Counsel Culture.’ During the show, Alsina opened up about his fluid sexuality and credited God for exposing him to “so many different kinds of people, places,” and things.
Furthermore, the singer explained that love is “much more complex” than one defining themselves as “gay, straight, bisexual, or whatever.”
Akbar apparently caught wind of the singer’s sentiments and took to Instagram to share a lengthy message. The rapper seemed to disapprove of Alsina creating God while speaking about his “fluent” sexuality.
“Jesus ain’t did nun like@this yall play with God tooooo much … he gives us a choice….. how did God do this and he says it’s a sin … so do that means God a liar ?” Akbar wrote.

Since then, Akbar has even doubled down on her stance by sharing numerous posts on her Instagram feed. Furthermore, one featured a video message from the rapper captioned with, “I’m gonna tell yall the truth … stop looking at the messenger and listen to the message 🥰❤️”
Akbar’s words seemingly made their way to Alsina’s side of the internet. On Monday, August 19, the singer took to Instagram to share a video with fans. In the clip, he mainly promoted his recently released unisex fragrance, Lè’Joce. Furthermore, Alsina even took a quick second to seemingly address Akbar’s stance.
“First off, I just want to say thank you to everybody on the support of our unisex fragrance,” Alsina explained before later adding. “…But this is an incredible fragrance, an evolutionary fragrance… a repellent to negative energy…”
In the caption of his clip, Alsina added:
“M E S S A G E 🗒️ !! .. there’s a lot more that could be said, but I don’t want to interrupt the Grace of God over life that speaks the loudest. Stay well…” he wrote.

Alsina’s PSA caught Akbar’s attention, and the rapper slid into The Shade Room’s comment section with an additional statement:
“I’m just being honest, ion care who [gets] mad. God ain’t told us to sin,” she responded.
At this time, Alsina has returned to the ‘gram to share any more reactions to Akbar. In fact, the singer appears to be primarily focused on earning his coins and spending time with his loved ones.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Alsina sparked reactions earlier this month when he took to the ‘gram to show off his quality time with his close friend Zu.
To date, Alsina has not explicitly confirmed Zu as his romantic partner. However, the singer did previously credit Zu for teaching him “so much about love and healing.”
