Imagine applying for college and as you search the school’s major, you come across, pizza.
Yup! Pizza!
So Pizza Hut is joining forces with Manchester Metro University (England) to make studying pizza available for students! 1,500 apprenticeships were reportedly created where students will be awarded the opportunity to learn a range of skills to equip them with what they need to know about everything from food production to financial analysis.
Seeing as how this is a pilot program, it will run for the next five years. Complex says that even though it is unclear when the program will launch, students who have obtained a level 1 up to degree level will be able to participate while lower level students, who are not enrolled at the university, will be able to get their training directly with Pizza Hut.
Pizza Hut’s HR director, Kathryn Austin said that the plans they have for the course include broadening the skill sets of any student who plans to study Pizza.
“Over the next few years we will work hard to provide our apprentices and team members with the best training and development so that we can equip them with skills for life, not just for working in a restaurant.”
Well, we see now, pizza really IS life!
