ASAP Rocky had a hell of a summer after he was locked up in Sweden earlier this year following a street brawl. Now it looks like he’ll be making his return to Sweden before the year is up.
According to Billboard, Rocky just announced his plans to return to Sweden to headline a show at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm on December 11th. Additional Swedish artists are set to perform as well, with the proceeds from the show going to the Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups.
Live Nation announced the show in a statement and said, “After an outcry of support from his Swedish fans, he will return to Stockholm to deliver a triumphant show for all his supporters.”
As we previously reported, while out in Sweden back in July, Rocky was confronted by some locals and they ended up getting into a street brawl. He documented the altercation and placed it on his Instagram account.
Unfortunately, he spent about a month in Swedish jail before returning to the U.S. In the end, he was found guilty in the assault case. However, he did not have to serve any additional time behind bars. Prosecutors in the case claimed Rocky threw a bottle at the guy involved in the fight and it caused the guy to get badly cut. However, they were unable to find a witness who saw the bottle being thrown.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on A$AP Rocky’s return to Sweden?
