Roommates, as the holidays approach us, Apple is coming through with early gift ideas. Apple just unveiled it’s first ever Apple-branded over-ear headphones today called The ‘Apple AirPods Max.’ If you copped the original AirPods for the discreet design, it seems Apple is leaning in a completely different direction with their newer model. According to their press release, the AirPods Max will “combine a custom acoustic design, H1 chips, and advanced software to power computational audio for a breakthrough listening experience with Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio.”
Though the look is just as sleek, the design itself would be hard to miss. Outside of the obvious over the ear design, Apple also hit us with vibrant colors. You can purchase the headphones in space gray, sky blue, green, pink and silver. The colors are kinda lit Roommates, I’m not even going to lie!
Now let’s get to the price, cause I feel like that’s what we’ve been waiting for, especially when it comes to Apple products! AirPods Max are available to order starting today for $549 and will be going on sale on December 15th. Customers will also be able to add personal engraving to AirPods Max, AirPods Pro, and AirPods for free on apple.com when they purchase. And don’t worry, you also get a cute case with the headphones…
