Only a few days after news about Angus Cloud’s passing broke, an artist from his hometown of Oakland, Calif., has honored the late Euphoria star with a mural.
According to CBS Bay Area, a local artist named Darin Balaban was working on another project when he learned of Cloud’s passing. In turn, he pivoted and turned it into a mural for Angus, and some of the star’s close friends got to help with its creation.
“It was really touching, and I hope that people who knew Angus or were affected by him [take] something positive away from this wall.”
Following the project’s creation, people gathered at the mural on Wednesday evening (Aug. 2) to honor the late actor’s memory. The artist is also encouraging Angus Cloud’s fans to check out the mural and pay tribute.
For Bay Area Roomies, the mural is located in Oakland by E. 19th St. and 3rd Ave.
TMZ first reported on Angus Cloud’s death, noting that the actor’s family said, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.”
In the wake of Angus’ passing, Zendaya took a moment to honor him on Instagram, as The Shade Room reported.
Within her caption, Zendaya started by remarking, “Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor).”
Similarly, Sydney Sweeney also posted about Angus, and she stated, “You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime.”
Javon Walton — who plays Ashtray, the younger brother of Angus’ character, Fezco — shared a photo of them and simply commented, “Rest easy brother.”
We continue to send our condolences to Angus Cloud’s loved ones.
