#Roommates, the beef between Gucci Mane and “The Breakfast Club” radio show co-host Angela Yee isn’t going away anytime soon, as Angela has finally responded to Gucci’s ongoing claims that she flirted with him in the past.
It’s been 10 years since Gucci Mane claimed that during his visit to the popular radio morning show, “The Breakfast Club,” co-host Angela Yee was openly flirting with him. Neither has backed down from their respective stance on the issue since then, he says it definitely happened while she stands firm that it didn’t.
Well, during his recent sit-down with fellow “Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God, Gucci brought up the incident again along with some name-calling thrown Angela’s way—and she is finally setting the record straight.
In a brief on-street interview, Angela had this to say about Gucci:
“I just don’t really care. It doesn’t affect me, like, it’s not going to affect anything we have going on. I’mma just continue to do my job. I guess it’s just par for the course. Every now and then, some person does something—somebody says something crazy about us and then they get a little press out of it. And then life continues. As long as he said we didn’t actually do anything, I’m fine.”
She continued, elaborating on his claims that he’s banned from the show, him threatening to slap her and made it clear that physically, Gucci is not her type:
“Not when you threaten to slap one of the hosts. I don’t think that’s the smart thing to do. If you’re going to threaten to slap a host on the show, I don’t think you should be allowed in the building. We take those things seriously. I think people who know me, know me well enough to know, like, I wouldn’t [hook up with him.] Just Google what he looked like in 2009 and you’ll see what I’m talking about.”
Gucci then hit back at Angela, posting a photo of himself from 2009…when the alleged flirting took place.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
