Ahead of The Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 Reunion coming to an end, Andy Cohen is dishing on why he “yelled” at Larsa Pippen in the middle of taping!
Andy Briefly Acknowledged The Situation On His Instagram Story
Initially, the subject was brought to public attention up thanks to an Instagram Story that Andy posted from the reunion earlier this year.
He began by simply saying, “I didn’t have screaming at Larsa on my bingo card today.” Larsa then asked for an apology, which Andy politely delivered before proclaiming, “I don’t like screaming at women.”

He Took Personal Issue With Larsa Pippen ‘Weaponizing’ Wedlock
On Monday, the longtime Bravo exec further spoke on the matter during Andy Cohen Live, as interest in his revelation was freshly renewed thanks to the reunion airing.
He proceeded to deliver “a little more inside tea” on why he popped off on Larsa. Specifically, Andy noted that he felt as though Larsa was “weaponizing” the fact that her RHOM costar, Dr. Nicole Martin, had a child who “was born out of wedlock.”
“Larsa was kind of—it seemed to me—weaponizing to Nicole that her child was born out of wedlock. Like, she was saying, ‘I could be calling out that your son was born out of wedlock.’ Now, when you say, ‘I could be using something as a weapon,’ you’re basically doing it.”
He also acknowledged how the issue involved “semantics,” as Nicole proclaimed that Larsa referred to her son as a “b**tard” while Pippen denied this. Regardless, though, Andy “was pretty heated up” and told Larsa that her comment “was an a**hole thing to say.”
“It was a little bit of semantics because Nicole kept saying, ‘You called my son a b**tard.’ And she said, ‘I didn’t, I just said he was born out of wedlock.’ And to me, to even bring it up I said, ‘Well, that was an a**hole thing to say to her.’ And I was pretty heated about it.”
As for why Andy took Larsa’s comment so personally, he noted that—as “a single dad of two children”—he “got super sensitive to that idea of that being weaponized.”
“And it will come as no surprise to anyone why I got so heated. I have two children. I’m a single dad of two children,” he added. “So there is no other person, there is no other parent. But I got super sensitive to the idea of that being weaponized. And that’s why I jumped in there, and there you go.”
Larsa Pippen Brought The Matter Up In Response To Feeling Judged
As for how the situation played out on the show, Larsa initially brought it up during Season 4 of RHOM. In response to Larsa feeling judged by Nicole, Pippen archaically proclaimed that she could’ve judged her costar for having a child “out of wedlock” but, instead, refrained from doing so.
The issue was brought up once again during Season 5, and Larsa hasn’t expressed any regrets for making this comment.
