We are quickly approaching the twenty-year anniversary since the passing of the Notorious B.I.G.
There is no doubt that his legacy will continue to live on forever, and now there is a new documentary in the works that will continue to push his legacy forward.
According to Rolling Stone, on Monday at the Berlin Film Festival, an authorized documentary with the approval and cooperation of the late rappers estate was announced.
The documentary will be called, “Notorious B.I.G.: One More Chance.” It will be directed by the Malloy Brothers and Voletta Wallace, Biggie’s mother will serve as one of the films producers, along with Submarine and ByStorm Films.
Ms. Wallace said in a statement, “It brings so much joy to my heart that my son Christopher’s music has made such an impact on the music community and his stories have positively inspired so many young men and women over the years, and still influencing the youth all over the world today.”
Submarine has been known to work on a few other music documentaries, including Nas’ 2014 film, “Time Is Illmatic.”
Back in 2009 Ms. Wallace gave her blessing for the biopic, “Notorious,” which starred Jamal Woolard as Biggie.
