Three months after giving birth, Noor Alfallah has reportedly filed for full physical custody of the son she shares with actor Al Pacino. As The Shade Room previously reported, a representative for the 83-year-old confirmed he was expecting a child with the 29-year-old in May.
At the time, Alfallah was eight months pregnant.
According to Page Six, Alfallah filed a petition on Wednesday to “determine parental relationship” with Pacino in Los Angeles, California. The outlet reports that the step is used by “unmarried couples” with kids to “establish child custody, visitation, and child support.”
Alfallah is reportedly asking for the judge to grant her full physical custody of the three-month-old, named Roman Alfallah Pacino. However, the 29-year-old would like to “share legal custody” of the infant with Pacino. Additionally, Alfallah would like to give the actor “reasonable visitation” with the child.
According to Entertainment Tonight, this would give the 83-year-old a say regarding the child’s education, medical treatment, and religion. Additionally, Alfallah’s filing for full physical custody implies that the infant would live with her.
Despite Alfallah’s recent filing, Stan Rosenfield, Pacino’s publicist, told Entertainment Tonight that the pair are still “together.”
“Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child Roman. They are together,” Rosenfield explained to the outlet.
Additionally, Rosenfield declined to explain what prompted Alfallah’s custody filing by telling Entertainment Tonight, “That is a question for Noor.”
At this time, Page Six adds that Alfallah has provided the court with a signed “voluntary declaration of parentage.” According to the outlet, the declaration “proves” that the actor is the father of the three-month-old.
Furthermore, Page Six also reports that the 29-year-old requests Pacino to cover her legal fees “and any other court-related costs.” According to The Blast, the amount of child support Alfallah reportedly seeks from Pacino has not been disclosed in the initial filing.
As The Shade Room previously reported, news that Pacino was expecting a child with the 29-year-old surfaced in May. According to Page Six, the 83-year-old allegedly discovered that Alfallah was pregnant in April and was shocked to receive the news.
Then, in June, the actor exclusively shared his thoughts about the pregnancy to the Daily Mail.
“It’s very special… It always has been,” Pacino explained. “I’ve got many kids. But this is really special coming at this time.”
According to a live birth certificate obtained by The Blast, their baby was born on June 6, 2023, at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. According to the outlet, the infant is Al Pacino’s fourth child and Alfallah’s first, as per Entertainment Tonight.
Page Six reports that the pair were most recently seen together in early August.
