You know they say manifestation is key when it comes to getting the things you want out of life, and Akbar V is making sure she puts out her wishlist of artists she would like to work with, out into the universe.
On Friday, she shared a list of artists she would like to create music with and said, “Before I leave this world I want to work with these artists….. if God willing I’ll make this happen.”
The list of artists includes Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, Meek Mill, Young Thug, Queen Latifah, Teyana Taylor, Keyshia Cole, Lil Durk, Future, Demi Lovato, Emili Sande, Missy Elliott, and Lauryn Hill.
Akbar V has appeared on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” where she has shared a musical journey with viewers.
Last week she dropped her latest single “Queen,” and in a promotional video for the single, she expressed her gratitude for her team as she embarked on a new chapter in her life.
When she’s not getting her rhymes together, Akbar V has also been known to keep her followers entertained on social media. Last November, she went viral after going live with a young teen and aspiring rapper. She was offering relationship advice to her followers, and it seemed like the young boy may have wanted to rap instead.
In a clip, she was heard saying, “Let me tell you, something boy, don’t come on here playing with me, motherf***ing Caucasian child. Do not come playing with me. Do you hear me? This is relationship advice only.”
She continued to tell the boy, “This ain’t no God-damned talent show, boy. This is relationship advice. Come back Monday if you wanna rap.”
Eventually, the two of them became cool.
