A$AP Rocky flexed on the cover of the Men’s March Edition, of the Wall Street Journal. With a big smile and creative fashion, the Harlem native gave us a true expression of his creative style.
In 2019, A$AP Rocky found himself at the center of even more attention, due to his arrest in Sweden, after a street brawl. Many people came to his support, including President Donald Trump who was instrumental in A$AP’s release.
In the upcoming issue, the 31-year-old talks about his interaction with the President after his release.
He stated,
“[President Trump] called me shortly after I came out. He was just like, ‘How you doing?’ I was like, ‘I’m good.’ I thanked him, and that was really it. Cordial.”
He was also asked if he thought President Trump had a hidden agenda, when he was seeking help.
“Man, I wouldn’t know. That’s a very big possibility. I was just thanking whoever helped me when I was in that sh*t. I wasn’t concerned with anyone’s motivations.”
A$AP has always been on his on wave, as it relates to his fashion. He once spoke about his nail art. The rapper said:
“I feel like men should be able to do nail art without feeling feminine,” ASAP Rocky said, while he showed off his Prada-designed nails. “This lady who is really, really good drew Prada on my nails when I was shooting my Prada collaboration, and she did my nails for the photos.”
A$AP Rocky released his debut mixtape Live. Long. A$AP in 2011. In 2013, his follow up project, Long. Live. A$AP, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
