A Prince Documentary Is Scheduled To Release In 2017

If there is anything to be learned after the passing of Prince, it is that his legacy will forever live on.

Since his passing there has been a number of tributes in his honor, and his Paisley Park estate has been turned into a museum to help keep his legacy alive.

Now we can add an upcoming documentary to the list of things that will help honor his memory.

According to Complex, a new documentary about Prince’s early years is expected to drop sometime in 2017. The film will reportedly be called, “Prince: R U Listening?” It will feature commentary from fellow musicians, friends and family.

PBS filmmaker, Michael Kirk is reportedly scheduled to direct the film, which will feature interviews from Lenny Kravtiz, Bono, Mick Jagger and Billy Idol. A release date for the film has yet to be determined, but reports are saying it will drop around mid-to-late 2017.

For the one-year anniversary of his passing, his estate will reportedly host a four-day festival that will feature artists that Prince has worked with throughout his career.

Earlier this month a new album, “Prince 4Ever,” was released with tons of his classic hits, and his classic album “Purple Rain,” is expected to be rereleased in 2017.

Roommates what are your thoughts?
