A North Carolina Man Is Suing Hardee’s Because He Feels He Didn’t Get Enough Hash Browns With His Breakfast

A North Carolina man is getting lawyers involved because he felt like he was ripped off by a local #Hardees (or #CarlsJr in other states) for not giving him enough Hash Rounds with his breakfast meal.

I’m like, first off, can you do that? Because that happens to all of us all the time at fast food restaurants. And then I remembered that this is America and you can sue for anything, but that doesn’t mean your chances of winning are good.

In this case, 58-year-old Tommy Martin felt the manager treated him unfairly and claimed his rights were violated when the Hardees manager refused to give him the correct amount of Hash Rounds, @foxnews reports. Martin, who is black, is alleging that the incident was racially motivated and said the manager and other customers at the restaurant were white, the #CharlotteObserver reported.

“It’s not a money issue,” Martin said. “I just want to be treated fairly.” Martin added that the manager gave him his money back after he complained, but refused to give him more of the Hash Rounds.

“The manager came back and said that’s what you get,” Martin said in a handwritten lawsuit that he filed in the U.S. District Court in Charlotte earlier this week, the newspaper reported. Apparently the incident brought tears to his eyes.

Based on pictures uploaded to Hardee’s website, a breakfast platter appears to come with about a dozen of the deep fried potatoes.

Fox News contacted Hardee’s for a statement concerning the pending litigation but they did not immediately respond.

What are your thoughts on this one, Roommates? Let us know!
