Jamal Hinton was minding his business when he was invited to a Thanksgiving dinner in a group chat with two numbers he didn’t recognize.
When he responded to the text asking who the people were, a lady responded saying “your grandma.”
Jamal was a little caught off guard as the invitation also said “hope to see you all, including Amanda and Justin,” so he asked the lady to send him a picture.
When she sent him a picture, let’s just say… it definitely wasn’t his grandmother.
Nevertheless, Jamal still asked for a plate, and the lady, whose name is Wanda, responded with the most adorable text.
Aww! Come through Wanda.
Jamal told The Huffington Post that he ended up going to Wanda’s house to meet her face to face and that “she was really nice,” and “a very funny, sweet lady.”
He’s apparently definitely going over to Wanda’s for Thanksgiving, and he’s bringing pumpkin pie!
