Lifetime hasn’t been everyone’s favorite network when it comes to producing biopics on some of our favorite artists. However, the network is gearing up again for yet another biopic.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this time they will be producing a biopic on Britney Spears, called “Britney.” The pop star is getting ready to release her new project, “Glory,” later this week.
Production for the film is set to start next month.
However, it’s the moments throughout her 20-year career that will attract viewers to the film. “Britney” is expected to cover the very beginning of her career, with her early hit singles such as, “Hit Me Baby One More Time.” And even her highly publicized relationships, including the ones with Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline.
Not to mention we’ll get a glimpse into her 2007 breakdown when she completely shaved her head.
Natasha Bassett will play Britney in the 2-hour film, which is expected to premier in 2017.
In the meantime we can see Britney Spears hit the stage this Sunday at the VMA’s.
