A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has some serious issues to work out in the aftermath of his breakup with his longtime girlfriend and children’s mother Ella Bands.
The couple’s drama started last month when they confirmed their split.
The former lovebirds seemed to have differences of opinion on how the breakup actually happened.
“As much and I don’t wanna admit it, I don’t deserve you @slaybyella_,” A Boogie wrote on his Instagram story.”You have a beautiful long life ahead of you and I don’t wanna be the reason you’re not happy. Be free. Go be who you truly want to be.”
A Boogie’s choice of words set Ella off, who had to set the record straight about what went down behind closed doors.
“Lmao we already talked about this in real life & it was my idea idk why he coming on Instagram with it like he setting be free. Boy go to hell,” she wrote.
After her response, she went to Twitter to air out a few more things, letting it be clear that she can act of her own agency.
“One thing I hate is when people view me as something that I’m the complete opposite of,” she tweeted. “One thing a n*gga can never stop me from is having a voice! I’m gonna always say how I feel whether you like it or not.”
Just when it appeared things were settling down between them, A Boogie returned to social media Monday night to reiterate that he was the one who “let her free.”
“I know I let her free and all but…If you try to holla at bm do not try to be my friend Simple,” A Boogie wrote.
It wasn’t really clear if A Boogie was addressing someone specific or if he was just speaking in general but he doesn’t seem to be a fan of the idea that Ella is getting her groove back.
Ella has yet to respond but maybe she’ll decide to be the bigger person and not say anything at all. We’ll keep you posted.
