Tessa Thompson applied straight pressure with her red carpet looks at this year’s Venice Film Festival, proving that she is one of Hollywood’s top fashion girls! Playing with dramatic designs and bold color, Tessa Thompson represented wearing designers such as Elie Saab, Armani Privé and Christopher John Rogers—while turning heads in the process.
Tessa Thompson has had a wide variety of red carpet looks during the 2022 Venice Film Festival, including an absolutely show-stopping all-red monochromatic design that appeared to be a high fashion take on Little Red Riding Hood. The striking red mini-dress with a voluminous train was from the Elie Saab Fall/Winter 2022 couture collection. It also featured a dramatic hood that billowed from her waistline to her shoulders. She paired the monochromatic look with matching red tights, platform pumps and a small handbag.
However, she wasn’t done, as earlier during the festival she invoked the final days of summer by wearing a neon green, floor-length gown that sent the paparazzi into a frenzy. The gown, designed by Christopher John Rogers, featured a sleeveless corseted bodice with a long train and minimized bustle. She finished off the look with a lengthy sleek ponytail and a headpiece with an attached black veil.
Finally, Tessa Thompson opted to go the vintage route, wearing a vintage 2009 Armani Privé’ Spring/Summer abstract couture gown. The contrasting design featured a silver iridescent bustier surrounded by a collection of ruffles that gathered at the waist—while the bottom half was more simple, with a black sequin ankle-length shirt.
She completed that look with classic Giuseppe Zanotti black pumps and edgy accessories, including a silver choker black cat-eye sunglasses.
At this rate, we can’t wait to see what Tessa wears once awards season starts!
