Roommates we are sending out prayers and well wishes to legendary guitarist Carlos Santana, who unfortunately collapsed on stage during a recent performance.
According to CBS News, Carlos was performing at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan Tuesday night when he collapsed. There were photos and videos from the venue where he was seen waving to people as he was being treated on stage. His manager later released a statement and confirmed that he suffered from “heat exhaustion and dehydration.” However, the statement also shared that he was taken to a local hospital and is “doing well.”

In the meantime, Carlos’ Wednesday night performance in Pennsylvania has been postponed.
Carlos and his band Santana have been touring on the Miraculous Supernatural Tour with Earth, Wind & Fire, which is scheduled to wrap up on August 27th in Tampa, Florida.
Carlos took to Facebook to address Tuesday night’s incident and said,
“To one and all thank you for your precious prayers. Cindy and I, we are good just taking it easy, forgot to eat and drink water so I dehydrated and passed out blessings and miracles to you all.”
The Associated Press reports that Carlos canceled a number of performances last December after he underwent an unspecified heart procedure. He and his band also canceled some shows back in February after testing positive for COVID-19.
We are wishing Carlos Santana a speedy recovery.
