YFN Lucci is requesting a judge to grant him bond after allegedly being stabbed in jail.
In exclusive documents obtained by TMZ, Lucci claims he was attacked in the Fulton County jail, while on a video call.
“In the docs, obtained by TMZ, YFN Lucci claims he was stabbed from behind while on a video call with someone on the outside … and he says the other inmate used a homemade shank to stab him.”
The stabbing reportedly happened Feb 9th, and Lucci is also claiming that “he’s been told there’s a price on his head … and he fears his life is in jeopardy if he remains in custody.”
As a result of the attack, he is now asking a judge to grant bond. Lucci says he’s willing to be confined to a 24-hour home and wear an ankle monitor.
As we previously reported, YFN Lucci turned himself in May of 2021 after posing bond in a separate case. Atlanta prosecutors claim that Lucci (an alleged Bloods gang member) and two friends, who are also alleged gang members, drove a Maybach SUV into rival gang territory and a deadly “gun battle” ensued, resulting in 28-year-old James Adams being fatally shot. Prosecutors also state that Adams’s body was “dumped from the Maybach” not far from the scene of the crime.
If you recall, YFN Lucci also faces a racketeering case related to gang activity. His lawyer, Drew Findling stated, “He’s not a gang member,” Findling said. “What he is is an internationally recognized musical artist that is a triple platinum winner, that has performed all over the United States and all over the world.”
